We are remodeling our kitchen. I was unsure if I should get this sink due to other reviews stating damage upon arrival. I took a chance and I was wowed by how perfect this sink is! Super easy to install, well made, nice and deep, easy to clean, and looks wonderful. I highly recommend!

I put this in my laundry room with a new faucet, as we are remodeling our kitchen and using this sink as our interim kitchen sink. With the clean, straight edge, it really updates the drop-in sink look and we love the features that come with the sink. The roll out rubber and stainless steel drying rack is great. You can spray beneath it to clean the sink and the dishes on the drying rack don’t even get wet (if you’re careful). I also like the little catchall basket, as we have no disposal in the laundry room.

This is a review of the 33 Drop In Sink – Logmey 33 x 22 Kitchen Sink Stainless Steel 18 Gauge Topmount Single Bowl Kitchen Sink.First of all, the packaging is amazing. The box was lined on four sides with three-eighths-inch thick plywood with the sink surrounded by a couple inches of styrofoam. All the accessories were inside their own boxes or bubble wrap and I can’t see how one of these can arrived damaged. (I suppose if it fell out of a moving vehicle.) Ours was perfect.See the photos for how it looks. We love it. The zero-radius corners aren’t as easy to clean as anything with a larger radius, but it does look very impressive. Ours came with a rollable drying rack that spans the sink from front to back with silicone ends to keep it from sliding around. Haven’t used it yet, but it could come in handy. What’s not as useful is the bottom wire rack that occupies the entire bottom of the sink. I know these are very trendy, but the truth is, when you get ANY debris under there, the whole thing needs to come out of the sink to clean it. It’s easier to just leave it out, but then the question is where to store the thing. It’s so big that we don’t have any cabinets that will easily accept the rack. Some installation tips:The clamps are difficult to put on the hangers under the sink and you NEED to install them before the sink goes in the countertop. Once they are installed, you might have to squeeze them a bit to get the teeth to fit between the sink and the countertop as you drop it into place. Even if you do this, some of the teeth may be pushed up toward the sink and won’t be low enough to engage the underside of the countertop. You can simply pull the teeth down into position with some pliers (Channel-Locks are good for this). Have someone help guide the teeth into the countertop as you install the sink¡ªif any of the teeth flip up as you are dropping the sink into position, you will NOT be able to get the sink fully into the hole and if any of the other teeth go in and then spring into place under the edge of the hole, you may have a hard time getting the sink back out to correct the problem. And since you’ll probably be doing this with a fresh bead of caul or silicone around the opening, you definitely don’t want to screw this up. (I’ve provided photos of all these tips in this review.)Update: After 15 months of use, we still love this sink. Being stainless steel, it does have a few scratches, but the overall appearance is still amazing. The flat bottom has been great when we bake as we can stack big bowls and utensils for hours before worrying about cleaning up. As far as cleaning the sink, we found a squeegee and keep it right next to the sink for pushing the remaining water towards the drain. It drains without doing this, but the process alleviates a lot of the water spots that can occur if you don’t dry the sink right away. We use the included drain rack all the time, especially nice since it simply fills out of the way when not in use, but the tray that is supposed to sit inside the bottom of the sink hasn’t been inside since the day we got the sink. It’s just too much of a hassle to remove if you need to clean the sink bottom. It’s nice and very well made, but impractical.

Sink is great, works well and looks nice in kitchen! The rack is super handy and even the drying thing is helpful for space saving too. Our sink has some black material on the sides that was likely from the anti condensation coating that rubbed off during manufacturing. I contacted customer service and they were super helpful and reimbursed me for this inconvenience. I think this was a one-off so I wouldn’t be too concerned that this would happen again.

It was much better than expected and easily installed. I will enjoy it for years.

This sink is quite nice, no complaints at all. One good feature is that the top rim is twice as thick (3mm) as the sink itself. And the top rim is almost perfectly flat when I checked it with a straight edge, close enough. I replaced a 15 year old standard double bowl unit and this sink dropped in perfectly with no cutting of the counter top. The only tricky part is installing the sink clamps from underneath. Some reviewers state you cannot install them after the sink is in place, not true. Every installation will be unique. What you want to do is temporarily drop the sink in place then crawl under it with a flash light and look up at the clamp brackets that are attached to the sink. Move the sink front to back and left to right and to center the brackets to ensure you have clearance to hook the brackets with the clamps. Test fit the clamps. I had to re-bend my clamps to work with my counter top thickness. After ensuring this is good, go top side and apply painters tape to the counter top outlining the outer edge of the sink. This will protect the counter top when the caulk squeezes out and it makes it easy to remove the excess caulk after it has cured. Now remove the sink. Install the faucet. Apply clear RTV caulk to the counter top, inside your taped lines. Drop the sink in place aligning it within the tape edges. Crawl back underneath and center the sink so you can hook the brackets with the clamps. Install and tighten the clamps. It took me a good hour to get the clamps installed, a real pain in the butt. If my clamps didn’t fit I would have just relied on the RTV to hold the sink in place, which would work fine. I drilled a one inch hole to the left of the faucet hole to install a soap dispenser.

Really thick and nice but no holes for soap pumps

  8. Union Fork Baptist Church % Neal Alexander (verified owner)

    Lots of room

The rack that sits in the bottom of the sink has the rods going left to right making it impossible to stand up items like a cutting board leaning on the side of the sink without sliding out at the bottom and falling into the sink.

  10. An old but not really old man (verified owner)

I took down one star because of the water not able to drain out completely, and also the brackets to tight with the countertop are not perfectly line up. I had to specifically cut the cutout at the bracket areas larger to fit those brackets. Other than these issues, the sink is so good. I really like it. It may likely last a lifetime.

Well packed. Perfect condition. Nice, appropriate attachments. Securing clamps take a little figuring out but weren’t terrible

    Replaced my boat sink

I was worried this sink was just going to be OK due to it’s price point but it’s a really nice, heavy gauge sink.

  14. Andrea (verified owner)

I bought this sink 3 years ago after a complete kitchen renovation. I have loved it. It is deep just like I wanted so I can clean big pots and virtually anything. My only complaint and I don’t think there is any way around it is that the food sticks on the bottom of the sink and my mother who lives with me and is legally blind image doesn’t see the buts of food so I have to go after her to clean the sink each time. I wish it would flow down. I live the sink enough that it is a minor complaint. I’ll take the good with the minor annoyances.

Its soo god its worth the money

Heavy gage, heavy duty, Bottom screen a must to prevent dings. Great value. Buy it.

  17. beege0328 (verified owner)

I wasn’t able to get the sink clasps to connect, so my sink is only being held in place by silicone. With that being said, it’s not budging and looks great! Would definitely buy again.

It’s a beautiful sink , depth is great , and drying rack is a plus
